Investing.com – Bitcoin was trading at $24,694.7 by 01:11 (05:11 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Tuesday, up 10.60% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since November 10, 2022.

The move upwards pushed Bitcoin’s market cap up to $472.8B, or 43.68% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Bitcoin’s market cap was $1,275.5B.

Bitcoin had traded in a range of $23,994.6 to $24,705.2 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Bitcoin has seen a rise in value, as it gained 8.91%. The volume of Bitcoin traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $46.8B or 52.59% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $19,591.8281 to $24,705.2266 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Bitcoin is still down 64.21% from its all-time high of $68,990.63 set on November 10, 2021.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

Ethereum was last at $1,681.28 on the Investing.com Index, up 5.39% on the day.

Tether was trading at $1.0038 on the Investing.com Index, a loss of 0.06%.

Ethereum’s market cap was last at $205.6B or 19.00% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Tether’s market cap totaled $73.3B or 6.77% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
