Shockwaves from this massive earthquake have been felt as far as northern and central Israel. Also in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Israel, Palestine, Cyprus.
Reports are incoming of entire buildings having collapsed. So far no word on injuries, but numbers are expected to be shockingly high. This is awful news.
USGS is reporting it at magnitude 7.8
